Incredible Gassy is an unofficial parody of Mr. Incredible from Pixar’s The Incredibles, featuring an oversized body, a bright green superhero suit, and ridiculous gas-related powers. Online artist Bobo Comics created the character around 2021; it originally appeared in an adult-oriented commissioned animation before becoming an absurd internet meme. Its bizarre appearance, crude humor, and resemblance to a familiar superhero helped it spread through online communities. The meme later found a new audience through Viggle AI videos in late 2024 and 2025.
What started as an obscure parody eventually inspired reaction images, comics, animations, and AI-generated edits featuring recognizable internet personalities and athletes. These newer videos gave the character another life online, building on a joke that had existed for years before AI-assisted video editing became part of the trend.
What Does the Incredible Gassy Meme Mean?
The Incredible Gassy meme is a form of absurdist internet humor that transforms a powerful superhero into an intentionally ridiculous character. Instead of Mr. Incredible’s familiar red costume and extraordinary strength, the parody features a lime-green outfit, an exaggerated body, and gas-themed abilities.
The joke largely comes from that contrast. In Pixar’s original portrayal of Mr. Incredible, he’s a strong, determined superhero who wants to return to his glory days. Incredible Gassy takes that recognizable character and turns him into something deliberately absurd.
The exaggerated design makes the parody instantly recognizable, even without a caption.
What the meme communicates depends on where and how it’s used. In online communities, Incredible Gassy commonly appears in several forms:
- Reaction images: Shared for absurd humor, mockery, or unexpected responses, depending on the accompanying caption.
- Comic edits: Placed in exaggerated situations or crossover stories involving other fictional characters.
- Video remixes: Featured in fan animations that reinterpret the original parody.
- AI-generated jokes: Used to make recognizable people appear in embarrassing or ridiculous situations.
Unlike a conventional side eye meme, which typically communicates suspicion or silent judgment, Incredible Gassy relies more on visual absurdity and exaggerated mockery.
There’s no single caption or hidden meaning behind every Incredible Gassy meme. The joke usually depends on the character’s appearance, the unexpected situation, or the person being ridiculed.
Who Created Incredible Gassy, and Where Did It Come From?
Incredible Gassy is credited to Bobo Comics, an online artist who created the character for a commissioned animation around 2021.
The original animation featured a heavily exaggerated version of Mr. Incredible and included adult fetish-oriented humor. That context helps explain the character’s unusual design, although many later memes relied on cropped images, drawings, and edits rather than reproducing the explicit material.
According to Know Your Meme’s documented history of Incredible Gassy, an early cropped, safe-for-work version appeared on YouTube on June 4, 2021. The original animation was created by that date, but its exact first publication date remains uncertain.
Bobo Comics also addressed similar commissioned work in a February 2022 social media response, explaining that gas-themed artwork was not a personal preference and that such pieces had been completed as commissions.
Although Bobo Comics is credited with creating the artwork, the original commissioner’s identity has not been conclusively established. Claims connecting particular social media accounts to the commission should therefore be treated cautiously.
How Incredible Gassy Became a Viral Meme
Incredible Gassy didn’t become a widely recognized meme overnight. Its popularity developed gradually as online communities began turning the original animation into increasingly strange jokes.
2021: The original animation appears
The character originated in a commissioned animation attributed to Bobo Comics. By June 2021, a cropped version had appeared publicly on YouTube, making the unusual superhero parody accessible beyond its original audience.
The animation’s strange premise and recognizable character design gave viewers plenty of material to remix, even if the original content wasn’t intended for mainstream meme culture.
2022: Early comics and social media edits
By August 2022, Incredible Gassy was appearing in internet comics. One documented example combined the character with SpongeBob-related imagery, placing the parody in a completely different fictional setting.
Other social media posts drew attention to the original animation’s bizarre content. As people shared screenshots and reactions, the character began circulating beyond the communities where the animation had first appeared.
2023: Meme communities expand the joke
In early 2023, users created Soyjak-style illustrations, comics, and alternative versions of Incredible Gassy. These circulated through imageboards and Reddit communities, including r/wordington.
The character also appeared in increasingly elaborate fan-made scenarios. Rather than simply reposting the original animation, creators began treating Incredible Gassy as a recurring internet character who could appear in almost any ridiculous situation.
By July 2023, fan animations and additional parodies had reached TikTok. Some placed the character in gaming-inspired scenarios, showing how far the joke had moved beyond its source.
A July 2023 explanation published by Know Your Meme documented this growing collection of comics, illustrations, and TikTok animations.
Late 2024–2025: The Viggle AI trend emerges
AI-assisted video editing introduced a different way to use the meme. Instead of sharing an image or drawing of Incredible Gassy, creators began placing other people’s likenesses into the existing animation.
That shift made the meme more personal. A fictional parody could now be used to mock a recognizable internet personality, celebrity, or athlete.
The original character remained the basis of the joke, but the person inserted into the animation became its new focus.
What Is Incredible Gassy Viggle AI?
Incredible Gassy Viggle AI refers to edited videos that use Viggle AI to place another person’s likeness into the Incredible Gassy animation.
Viggle AI is an AI-powered video creation tool with character-animation and motion-transfer capabilities. Meme creators used these features to make internet personalities, celebrities, and athletes appear to perform movements from the original parody.
One of the earliest documented Incredible Gassy AI edits featured internet creator IdkSterling. A version appeared on Reddit on November 29, 2024, followed by related TikTok posts in December.
The documented history of Incredible Gassy Viggle AI traces the format’s early spread through IdkSterling edits and its subsequent popularity in other online communities.
The trend continued through 2025, including among NFL fans. Some creators used the animation to ridicule football players after disappointing performances, turning the meme into an unusual form of sports mockery.
Although these videos use AI-assisted editing, they are based on an existing animation. The technology changes who appears to be performing the movements rather than creating the original Incredible Gassy character.
What Does “Getting Incredible Gassied” Mean?
The phrase “getting Incredible Gassied” means becoming the subject of an Incredible Gassy AI video edit.
Typically, someone takes a person’s image or likeness and inserts it into the character’s animation as a joke or insult. The person being targeted might be an internet creator, an athlete, or another recognizable individual.
The phrase is closely associated with the broader IdkSterling Viggle AI TikTok trend, in which creators placed the internet personality into various animations and viral video formats.
Unlike the original Incredible Gassy meme, which focuses on a fictional parody character, these newer edits often make a real person the target.
That difference matters. What one viewer sees as an absurd joke may feel humiliating to the person depicted, particularly when their likeness is used without permission.
Incredible Gassy Meme Formats Compared
The original animation, later meme templates, and Viggle AI videos all feature the same recognizable parody, but they’re used in different ways.
| Meme format | Meaning and typical use | Main period |
| Original Incredible Gassy | An exaggerated Mr. Incredible parody built around crude, gas-related humor | Around 2021 |
| Incredible Gassy image and comic edits | Reaction images, Soyjak-style drawings, crossover jokes, and character remixes | Especially 2022–2023 |
| Incredible Gassy Viggle AI videos | AI-assisted edits placing recognizable people into the animation, often to mock them | Late 2024–2025 |
An Incredible Gassy meme template might be a still image of the character reused with different captions or placed in an unexpected setting. Viggle AI versions take the joke further by changing who appears in the animation.
The distinction is important: the original Incredible Gassy character was not AI-generated. Artificial intelligence became part of the meme’s evolution several years after the parody first appeared.
